We started perionarexo because too many bright people were leaving university with theoretical knowledge but no practical skills in financial analysis. That gap between classroom theory and workplace reality needed bridging.
How We Actually Started
Back in 2019, I was consulting for mid-sized businesses across Queensland and kept seeing the same problem. Companies were hiring graduates with finance degrees who couldn't read a cash flow statement or spot obvious red flags in financial data.
The breaking point came when a client's new finance hire recommended a major investment based on projected revenue that ignored seasonal patterns completely visible in their three-year history. That's when we realized education needed to focus on practical analysis, not just formulas.
We designed our programs around real case studies from Australian businesses — the kind of messy, incomplete data you actually encounter in the workplace. No perfect textbook examples here.

Our approach stays focused on practical skills that actually matter in Australian business environments. We're not trying to create academic theorists — we're building analysts who can walk into any business and immediately add value.
